I am a DONA certified Birth Doula, APPA certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Stillbirthday Birth and Bereavement Doula and a childbirth educator. I’m a mother of three beautiful girls and one little boy. My first was born in a hospital, and the other three were born at home. I grew up in Saskatchewan and lived in Fort McMurray for 8 years before moving to Red Deer, where I’ve been a doula since 2012.
Laura has been our Doula for all 3 of our children’s births, and I highly recommend her as a Doula! From being supportive and providing lots of knowledge with our first, to working with myself and my husband for each birth to be there and support us with our birth plan. She helped me through labour with each contraction, I can’t even say enough about her support! She’s personable and easy to talk to about anything. She also provided amazing placenta prints for each baby which I cherish. My experiences would have been much different without her help and I 1000% recommend her!

I had placenta capsules made by Laura. I have recommended the placenta service to everyone and anyone I meet who is interested. For myself personally, I noticed a great difference in my postpartum recovery from the delivery of my first child to this last one. I had a better milk supply and I find myself a much happier mommy! I was extremely hesitant at first. I never envisioned myself as a person who would pursue this kind of service.
